Game of Thrones

Just did a character drawing of Daenerys Targaryen from the epic TV show 'Game of Thrones' for the new challenge with Knights Of The Round. I do feel I went over board with the blacks on this one, so the dragons feel quite obscured.

The Hobbit

I recently finished reading 'The Hobbit' and remembered how much fun and rich of a story the book really was. So whilst on my trip I took to recreating a scene where Bilbo converses with Smaug. I tried to base it a little to the original Tolkien illustration in the original book, though I added an atmospheric twist to it and have Smaug's glow create a very light contrasting space and to have the treasure all a glow too. Looking forward to the film's release though I now hear it is now to be a trilogy so have to wait awhile to see the whole thing.

Days of the Comet

I now finally have internet in my new house here so I can finally update things, so here are a few photo uploads of my contributions to the window, with the majority of them being kiwi birds on balloons and jet packs.





The ones I made were the kiwi's on the balloons and one that has a jetpack, a dragon, a bird in a red baron plane and my character that I made in first year of uni, Lt. Thunder flying with a jet pack.

This project was a fun contribution to the Uni and to the BAS7, and also we are getting paid for it, so this is my first paid commission in a way which is nice.

Not a good sign....

Of late I find myself drawing instead of taking notes during lectures, essentially drawing dreams to fedoras....
