More Sketches...

Been a while since I have updated this blog with my latest drawings so here is a sketch of a mafia member in all his fedora glory that I did on the train back home for Easter. Though I never did get round to finishing it because of the short journey home, and in some way I prefer it not to be finished.

OK so if the Illustration plan fails, this is so Plan B, gonna steal the Lady Washington, and assemble a crew and plunder the sea's just like the days of old!

Finally finished

It has taken 9 weeks or so, but finally finished this cover for Idoru, a sci-fi novel, which is absolutley boring...........

Note to self, should I forget. Need to make a book for the Babe bristol book fair, about gangsters from the 30's in a film noir style though its gonna be impossible to do screen prints or etchings for it before hand.......

Life Drawing Hats

Tried painting like Ashley Wood,...... it failed but then again I didn't expect to, and felt like I got something out of it, an expressive painting style that may be worth developing in the future. And I found that I can paint with watercolours with this self portrait I did.
