If only...

And here is this weeks Dr Who image to the on going series that I have started, and this time we got to the creator of the Dalek's, Davros. And of course it being Davros, I felt an excuse to draw a Dalek again. So here in the image is Davros yelling at his Dalek as he always does and as always the Dalek isn't paying him any attention. I quite enjoyed putting this piece together and I think it's the best one that's come out so far.

Pac Man

This quick doodle is my entry to this week's challenge on the equine cranium blog which the brief was the hunt, so decided to go back to the classic video game example of hunting that is Pac Man.

Cyber Scare

Hey folks, this image was supposed to have been earlier this week but I got a bit distracted with other things anyway here is another image that is gonna be part of my Dr Who series of images.
As you can see this time we have the Cybermen, as a scarecrow, with this version being reminiscent from 'Tomb of the Cybermen' though I changed it's eyes to be more menacing. I have enjoyed making this image and I hope you all likes.

Badman comic

OK two things one I now have a title for my western comic, and two I have a rough story to work with now bo yargh! The title is 'Badman', reason being twas the name given to men in the old west who were skilled with a gun, as they weren't called gunfighters or gunslingers which those terms originated in literature or movies. There are other names but I preferred this, you know simple and you kinda get the idea for the story.
Which leads me to the story, which has a romantic side to it, I know I seem to be a sucker for this. Anyway, the main character is a famed pistoleer (yes that is also what they were called at the time), who wants to get home after the end of the American Civil War, though he must contend with other gunman who are after his legendary status, before he can be at peace with his family. So I'm gonna be working on that whilst also doing other things as well.

Dalek likes daisies...

This is my doodle of a Dalek, who is infatuated with a daisy, twas a most random scenario that i could think of and digitally coloured it, also I quite like the style that came out of this. It's not my normal way of drawing since this is pretty loose for me but I think I may try more of these types of images in the future.

Letter D

So here is my quick doodle I decided to do for the group brief on the equine cranium blog where we had to pick the first letter of our first name and draw five things that begin with that letter. So I did a dalek, doctor who (symbolized with the Tardis), Dragonair, Death star and Daredevil. It got a bit messy with the inks but I'm satisfied for now.

End of Year Show

Here are some photos of my space that I also shared with Onddrej and Benj who collaborated on the Fedora comic project, at the end of year show. The show was a couple of weeks ago and thus concludes my second year at uni but its nice to look upon my work through the year and see a noticeable improvement from my last year at uni, so I'm more psyched for my final year.

Plans

Well so far im working on a comp for the group blog equine cranium, where this weeks project is film posters and im doing empire strikes back with presenting a comp as my final as what i would want to do as a final would take longer than a week especially as i have other things to do in my life. Also gonna put out there that I'm gonna be doing 2 maybe three projects over the summer them being the star wars project that i mentioned though im not sure i may still go through with that and the other two are both comic book projects one being a western story and the other a detective story though that will be done during my third year at uni but i am gonna start with the necessary research.






Anyways here is a photo of the progress of my comp so far, and I'm quite pleased with it so far. Quite inspired by Drew Struzan's own rendition of the same film.

The cowboy story is yet to be finalized but i shall be getting on it at some point, maybe either later in the week or next week i should have a story by then till then stay tuned for more developments.
